Suwanee water park

Jake went to Tennis practice and two of Kate's basketball games. Since basketball was near a splash park, we got to do something for Jake.

Another Funny Jake Moment

I sent Jake to the bathroom before bed and he came back to me and said, "Mommy, can you roll me down?"...at least that's what I heard.

I asked a couple more questions and then he said, "Mommy, I'm cold. Can you roll me down?" From that, I figured out that he was trying to say 'can you warm me down' which then led me to realize that what he meant was he wanted me to warm him up because he was cold.

Whew - case solved.

GBL champs

Kate’s Championship

Kate played in the Catholic Metro league for Saint John Neumann and they were undefeated in the regular season. They won the finals of the tournament by forfeit, but they beat the team they would have played earlier in the season anyway. Kate outscored the other team most games even though she involved all her teammates and made the pass rather than shooting whenever someone else was open. She had many double doubles and at least one triple double.

Kate practicing free throws

It was raining pretty steadily all day, but Kate had a big game for her catholic league tonight and she promised a friend she would shoot 100. She made 77/100 in the rain.

Jake-ism

Jake was doing a puzzle with me and then he laid down on his stomach with his arms out. He said, "my arms are glumpy". After he said that several times, he asked what that meant for his arms to be glumpy. I finally figured out that he was trying to say his arms were comfy.
